The Electric Mobility business line is a new business line of Rosatom's Fuel Company TVEL. Relying on the research, technological and production potential of the nuclear industry companies, the company sets the objective of making a considerable contribution to achievement of the national goal - establishment of a successful mass production of electric transport in Russia, including the relevant infrastructure.
Currently, the main task is to build cooperation and coordinate the work of industry enterprises producing various components for electric vehicles and electric charging infrastructure in the regions of Russia. Rosatom companies have a potential to jointly produce around 60% of all electric vehicle components, including storage batteries, electric motors, magnets from rare- earth metal alloys, basic micro-component systems, polymeric and composite materials.
Joint efforts of market players will make it possible to create a network of electric charging stations using Russian-made equipment.
